Celebrating St Peter & Barnaby Festival

On Sunday  26th June we celebrated St Peter’s Day with an All Age Service. We built a boat from building blocks during the service because St Peter was a fisherman and as part of our prayers we filled the boat with various items that represented the different groups that are part of our church.

After the service on the fourth Sunday of the month there are various activities which could include art or music. Yesterday we painted with fly swatters!

Last weekend we took part in the Open Air Service in the Market Place which was part of the Barnaby Festival. Many people from churches throughout Macclesfield took part. Each church prepared a plaque representing a bible story. St Peter’s plaque was about prophecy.
