Three meetings at St Peter’s church at 7-30 pm on the 21st and 28th November and the 5th December opening up discussion about the nature of church in the 21st century. Everyone welcome!
We do sometimes have film nights at our church, which are very popular when they happen, but in this case we’ve taken the title ‘Back to the Future’ and used it for a series of discussions we’ve had to think about our own future.
You can see from the website that there’s quite a lot going on, and last year we asked ourselves where we will focus our life as a community, following Jesus Christ, as we move forward. Most of our congregation have been involved and over the summer we’re drawing together a lot of ideas and discussions to decide on our priorities for the next few years. It’s not too late to get involved so if you have any ideas and comments do get in touch:
The St Peter’s garden project is growing well, and now includes a beehive! There are plans to develop the gardens further with the support of a Tesco ‘bags of help’ grant, which we hope will enable us to open up more of the garden space for local people.
You can read about the project and our plans at St Peter’s Community Garden Project and you can find out more and see pictures and videos of the development of the project at the St Peters Gardens Facebook page
