7.30 – 9.30 Thursday March 5th and Thursday March 12th
Our political landscape has changed radically in recent years, exposing fault lines in our society. We shall use two evenings in lent to think about the kind of society we want and how we might respond to post Brexit culture as a faith community. We will use the Old Testament book of Ruth and some resources prepared by the Corrymeela community to help us think about welcoming strangers, about loss and vulnerability, poverty and immigration and migration, national identity, inequality and human rights. It will help to have read the book of Ruth, just 4 short chapters but this is not essential, turn up on Thursday March 5 and 12 at 7.30 in the church.
